We are so excited for Super Saturday this year! We have a multitude of projects/crafts as well as some classes that will have you blogging about Christmas foods. We will have lunch and dessert as well, so come make something, learn a new skill or just socialize while tying a quilt that will be given to charity.
Check out the different options below and feel free to ask questions or sign up for the different activities in the comments.
Block Nativity
Cost: $6.50
Abstract Nativity made from wood blocks and spheres
Giant Ruler/Growth Chart
Cost: $18.00
This is
great to keep track of your kids/grand kids growth over the years.
We will be
starting with premium wood, so there will be minimal to no sanding on this
project. Lines are done with a sharpie and numbers are vinyl. We will have the light colored stain, featured in the picture below.
"Forget Not"
Cost: $.50
These pictures can be put in a picture frame as a reminder. There are 6 different versions of this beautiful reminder to “Forget Not”. Taken from Elder Uchtdorf’s talk at last year’s General Relief Society meeting. Please bring your own frame. The pictures are 4x6, but look nice in a 5x7 frame with a mat. Please specify which picture(s) you want and how many.

Cinnamon Roll Christmas Tree Cooking Class
Cost: Free
Come and learn how to make a festive, and
yummy, Cinnamon Roll Christmas tree to take home.
Dough and supplies will be provided. This will
be held from 10:00am-12:00pm in the kitchen.
You don’t need to be there the whole
time, so drop in as you are in between other projects and learn to make this
holiday treat.

Snowman Hot Chocolate Kit
Cost: $3.50
This cute
snowman can be used as a holiday decoration or a
neighbor/teacher
gift. It is filled with hot chocolate and mini marshmallows.
Blogging 101
Cost: Free
Do you
want to start a blog? Do you want to know how to check other people’s blogs?
Do you
want to know what in the world a blog is?
Come to
this class. It’s free, but please sign up if you think you will be coming.
This class
will be available in the afternoon from 12:30- 1:30pm. Just drop in when you
can.
Painted Glass Jar
Cost: Free
Paint and some supplies (jars, stickers, flowers) will be provided, but if you have anything you would like to add to your own jar, please bring it with you.
"Celebrate"/ "Happy Birthday" Pendant Banner
Cost: $5.00
This will
be made out of the light brown burlap, and we will have stencils
for the
words “Celebrate” or “Happy Birthday”.
Please
mark which stencil you are interested in, so we can make
sure to
have enough supplies.
There will be a sign up for each project outside the chapel before and after sacrament meeting on October 14th. Money is due by Tuesday October 16th. Please get your money to Donnarae Phillips or a member of the Relief Society Presidency.
